Good Morning . Well I don't know about you but I can't believe it'll Christmas very, very soon!! Where does the time go!! We've a new challenge for you at CD Sunday. It will the final one of the year so I hope we get lots of entries. This time it's been chosen by Meg....'Christmas Flowers/Foliage'. We had some yummy entries last time for ' Christmas presents' and Pamela will have a fun time choosing her Top Three!! The Top Three is up on the blog now for Jane's challenge.....'Christmas Things with Wings'. Don't forget to pop over to see if you're a winner. There's always a lovely prize on offer donated by the Design Team.
Here is my inspiration for you this time.
As always a CD has been used in the making. This time it's Victorian Christmas Cards CD 1 by Joanne Sheen. There are some wonderful images on this CD and it's a go to must for Christmas cards if you're wanting something more traditional.
I hope you'll be tempted to join us and for those who don't have a blog you can always enter via our facebook page. Don't forget the main rule, to be in with a chance of winning a great prize, is that you must use something from a CD and tell us which one you've used. We love to see other entries too but these won't be considered for a prize. Also it doesn't have to be a card it could be an ATC, gift box, altered item etc. etc. As long as you us a CD and follow the theme.
Finally I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a peaceful, healthy 2018.
Catch up with you soon. Happy Crafting!!

Zentangle Christmas
It's a new month and time for a new challenge at Unstampabelles, This time Susan would like to see some Zentangle on your Christmas cards using non traditional colours.
Here is my inspiration for you.
Using an outline of a Christmas pudding I then used my own Zentangle designs to fill in the 'pudding' area. Orange. blue and pink was my chosen colour palette. A strange combo I know!! I went on to Zentangle the holly leaves using the same colour palettes. The berries were Zentangled in pink. The heart on the 'icing' is from Hunky Dory. Finally I added a diecut Holly bough in blue. The Merry Christmas greeting along the bottom is also from Hunky Dory.
I hope you've been inspired to join us. There's a great prize on offer as usual.
Wow! Who wouldn't want to win these goodies?
Have fun!!

Christmas Present
Good Morning crafters. Well I hope you're all keeping warm and getting plenty of crafting done where it's warm, indoors!! The weather has changed here too. The sun is still shining but it's bitterly cold.
Enough about the weather let's get on with our next challenge at CD Sunday. The theme has been chosen by Pamela...'Christmas Present'. So we want to see more of your lovely Christmas makes. It doesn't have to be a card as long as you have used something from a CD anywhere on your entry and tell us which CD you have used. We have a Facebook page now where you can add your entry. So non bloggers you have no excuse now for not entering our challenge. There's always a yummy prize on offer too.
We had some fabulous entries last time for Jane's challenge 'Christmas things with wings' including Facebook entries . Well done to the newbies we hope to see lots more entries from you in the future. The Top Three for Carol's challenge 'Take a stamp' are up on the blog now. So don't forget to pop over to see if you're a winner.(link in sidebar|)
Here is my 'Christmas Present' inspiration for you this time.
I used a lovely CD from Joanne Sheen ....'Victorian Christmas Cards'. There are so many wonderful traditional images on this CD that it was hard to choose. I began with A4 white card stock folded in two. Then printed off the background paper and image from the CD and added it to the card. There were lots of small additional toppers on the one sheet so I use those too. I added the circular one to highlight the child gazing in wonder at her Christmas Present and another to create a gift tag. Finally adding the greeting which is also from the CD.
I hope you enjoy the challenge and I look forward to seeing all your yummy entries.
Have a great week and wrap up warm if you're brave enough to venture out in the snow!!

Christmas cards with the Dragonflies!
Good Morning everyone. I hope you have lots of lovely plans for your weekend. If you're from the Northern Hemisphere I hope you are keeping warm and aren't snowed in. But then you can always craft to keep those fingers busy!!
We have a new challenge at Crafting with Dragonflies. This time Hilde would like you to show us your Glammed Up Christmas cards. Here is my inspiration for you.
I recently purchased some lovely toppers from Hunky Dory. How about this for a glamorous Christmas stocking! I used white card stock for the main card and added a pink matt. Then the Hunky Dory image was added plus a circular topper for the greeting.
I hope you'll be inspired to join us. Don't forget it's card only and a fun challenge.
Enjoy!!

'Christmas Things with Wings' at CD Sunday
Good morning to you from a lovely sunny Cyprus. We can't believe the weather for November.....beautiful. It's cold at night tho so still have to have a fire on in the evening and a few more covers on the bed. But the days are lovely!
Thank you for joining our challenge last time 'Add a stamp'. Carol will choose her Top Three and let you know in two weeks. Meanwhile Jocelyn has chosen her Top Three for 'Autumn Leaves' and it's up on the blog now.
This time at CD Sunday we are asking you to think of Christmas.....so no surprise there!! Jane wants you to add something with wings to your Christmas creation. It doesn't have to be a card. It could be a wall hanging, tree decoration ....anything really just as long as it says Christmas and you use a CD.
Don't forget there's always a super prize on offer donated by our design team.
Other exciting news too!! We are trying to go into the world of Facebook, as this seems the way to go in the future for our challenge blog. It hasn't been easy and Jane and Pamela have been tearing their hair out trying to get to grips with it all. Well done to them as I wouldn't know where to start! They may have managed it but you'll have to pop over to the main challenge blog to find out more details!!

I couldn't resist using a robin for my card this time. I love seeing robins at Christmas time. They don't seem to appear here any other time so it's extra special when they do visit.
I started with A4 card folded and added a black matt to the front. I printed off the tartan background paper and topper from a Joanne Sheen CD ' Victorian Christmas Cards'. This was a decoupage sheet but I decided not to decoupage, thus keeping it flat for posting. The extra pieces from the sheet I used to make a leaf spray to add to the corner. The greeting strip is also from the CD.
A simple but pleasing card to make. I hope you've been inspired to join us. For more inspiration and news about Facebook please pop over to the main challenge blog (link in sidebar)
Have a great week and keep warm OR cool depending where in the world you are!!
Thank you for visiting and thank you for any comments you leave too. Have fun!!

Christmas....using non traditional colours
Time for our next fun challenge at Crafting with Dragonflies. As we know you'll be in full throws of Christmas card making Hilde thought it appropriate to ask you to make a Christmas card. The card must use non traditional colours .....so a bit of a challenge .
This is my inspiration for you. My non traditional colour is ....guess what...PINK!! My favourite colour...... so no surprises there!
I am showing another card using acetate and a Hunky Dory image. The main card is a piece of A4 acetate folded.
TIP: You must use a heavier weight acetate or it won't stand.
I placed the image on the inside and matched up the framing on the front to create a window effect. I added strips of silver washi tape and pink and silver ribbons down the right hand side on the front
The sentiment/ verse topper is on the back panel....you can just see it peeping through the ribbon strips.
TIP: Ensure you leave space on this topper to enable the sender to write their name. As they obviously can't write on the acetate unless they use an indelible marker pen.
Finally I added a die cut greeting and a snowflake from a Lidl's pack of snowflake toppers.
I hope you join us for this challenge. Remember it's cards only for fun.
Enjoy your weekend.

'It's all about the CAKE!!!'
Wow!! Where is this year going. It's November already and time for our next challenge at Unstampabelles.
This time Susan wants you to add CAKE to your creations. The twist is to use mainly Primary Colours i.e Red, Yellow and Blue. Again a great prize on offer of a lovely embossing folder kindly donated by Susan.
Now my inspiration for you includes the cake and some primary colours added, this is fine for the challenge but not for the twist!! Which is to use mainly Primary colours NOT add Primary colours.....but still acceptable for the main challenge......confused!!! If so then for more clarification pop over to Unstampabelles....link in sidebar.....where Susan has made it much clearer than me.
Here is my 'CAKE' card!
I used an Ode to Cake image and found some KEEP CALM toppers in my stash which I added. Then I remembered the Primary Colours bit!!! and made the 'flags' and added cup cakes from a book of toppers I had purchased from my Lidls store.
Well the challenge is all about the Cake so that's fine but the twist was not used as I'd added red, yellow and blue not created the card using red, yellow and blue!! Smacked hands....No!! I had fun and don't those cakes look yummy!!
Hope you all enjoy this challenge. It runs for the whole month of November and the Christmas will be round the corner. Now there's an idea .....use a Christmas cake on your creation!!
Have fun and I look forward to visiting you soon to see all those yummy cakes!
'Take a Stamp'
It's time for our next challenge at CD Sunday. This time the challenge is to use a stamp in your creation but still using CDs as well.
Now stamping is not one of my favourite techniques but I bit the bullet and made a Christmas card. Here it is......
I went for the simple route re adding the stamp bit!!
I used white card stock for the main card and added the background paper from the 'House Mouse at Christmas' CD from Joanne Sheen. I printed off some blank tags from Ooh La La's 'Christmas Presence' CD. I added red ribbon to these and then randomly stamped Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings to them in red. Et Voila!!!
So I complied with the challenge by making a CAS card but still using a CD and adding some stamping!! So it can be done. Just dust off those CDs and get out your stamps and combine the two. I'm sure you'll all make an awesome job of it. I know my fellow teamies have created some fabulous cards but me...... I went CAS!!
Thank you for popping by and any comments left are always read and appreciated. Have a crafty week!!
Pop over to the main challenge blog (link in sidebar) and be inspired!!

'Use your stash plus bling!!'
The next fun challenge at Crafting with Dragonflies is to use your stash and add some bling!! So an easy peasy one for your. Have fun!!
This is my inspiration for you.
I have used a Debbie Moore Art Deco lady for the main image adding it to a cream floral background paper. I had some sparkly numbers in my stash with pink gems added so I put this on to the mirror. I had some sparkly letters too which I used for the first letter of the recipients name....the rest are gold peel offs. A pink rose was added to the dress and finally a 'Happy Birthday' greeting with pink gems was added. I added more 'bling' with gold stickles on the hair ornament and trail from the rose. It really sparkles but sadly doesn't show up in piccie.
I hope you'll join us this time at Crafting with Dragonflies for this fun challenge! Remember it's cards only!
Have fun and I look forward to visiting your blogs soon.!

'Include and Animal'
Another new week and another new challenge from Ooh La La. Last time Janice asked you to use diecuts on your creations and you didn't disappoint . We had some fab entries. Janice's Top Three is up on the challenge blog now.
This time Jennifer wants us to add and Animal to our creations. Here is my inspiration for you.
The Ooh Lla Lla CD I've used for this one is from the Shawn Jenkins Collection. When I saw this great scene of Santa flying across the sky being pulled along by the reindeer I couldn't resist it for the challenge. I covered the card with dotted designer paper also from the CD and added a strip of another designer paper also from the Cd. This has the poem 'Twas the night before Christmas' written on it. Which I thought would very aptly go with the image.
I hope you're inspired to join us. For more fab creations pop over to see what the rest of the design team have created to inspire you. (link in sidebar|)
Have a lovely week and if you kindly leave a comment..... Thank You. They are always read and appreciated!!
Speak again soon!!

'When Autumn Leaves Fall'
Good Morning everyone. This time at CD Sunday we are thinking of the lovely Autumnal days we are having in the Northern Hemisphere. Here in Cyprus it still feels like Summer except that it's olive picking time and that definitely tells us it's Autumn.
Last time Margaret's challenge for Doggy cards turned out to be not as popular as I thought. A bit like my 'Mellow Yellow' I think crafters must be doing Christmassy crafting earlier this year and therefore normal card making is being side stepped . Or are you just not using CDs these days! I'm a big fan of CDs as I love using all the fabulous artwork that has been created by some very talented artists.
The Top Three is up for 'Mellow Yellow'. So if you were brave enough to enter pop over now to see if the winner is YOU!!
Here is my inspiration for you this timer.
I always like a Note card in my stash and I thought this image was perfect to send to someone to say they were in my thoughts. The designer paper is from a Lidls pack and the front matt with verse is a Googled image. The CD I used for the back Autumnal scene is from a new CD.....to me. It's Pollyanna Pickering's artwork......from 'Sketchbook Collection. Woodland Birds' by Creative Crafting World. The strap line 'Just a note' is also from the CD.
Remember for our challenge at CD Sunday you only need to use a small amount from a CD to be in with the chance of winning a prize kindly donated by our design team. For instance if I had only used the 'Just a note' feature this would have qualified. The other rule is to remember to tell us which CD it is from. After all the artist has spent a long time creating these wonderful images for us that it's only right they should be given the credit they deserve.
I hope you'll put down the Christmas glitter and join in our Autumn challenge. Remember Halloween and Bonfire night happen when Autumn leaves start to fall so you could go along with those thoughts. I can tell you're already getting those creative juices going. For more inspiration go the challenge blog (link in sidebar) and see what the rest of the team have waiting for you.
Have a lovely weekend and I look forward to visiting you soon.

'Just Designer papers.......No images'
Good morning crafters. Our challenge at Crafting with Dragonflies is to 'Use Designer papers only.......No image' Do you think you can do it? Yeh of course you can!! We had some lovely Pink entries last time for Pinkoctober. This is always a fave of mine as I love pink.....very girly!! The Top Three will be up on the challenge blog next weekend. So fingers crossed it may be you!!
Here is my inspiration for you this time.
Well I went bright didn't I ? So out of my comfort zone with brights!! But I had some yummy designer paper from Hunky Dory which I couldn't resist using. The card style is a swing card. Always tricky to do and I won't begin to try to explain technique as there are lots of videos on Youtube showing you how much better than I could ever do. The chevron strip is also a card strip from the Hunky Dory pack. I don't know about you but when I get my packs from them I use every scrap that's in there e.g. edgings, frames, etc. It all gets used.....such good value for crafters and the quality is second to none! I die cut Happy Birthday and the frame from the pack also. Finally I finished it off with some sparkly gems.
I hope I've inspired you to join us. For more inspiration pop over to see the creations from the design team.....you won't be disappointed. (Link to challenge blog in sidebar) Don't forget this is a fun challenge and it's cards only.
I hope you have lots planned for the weekend. The weather here is amazing for October....warm sunny days. The olive picking is in full flow this month and sitting under the olive trees in the shade is heavenly!
Take care and I look forward to visiting you soon.

Midway at Unstampabelles
Good evening or Good Morning whichever hemisphere, of this wonderful world, you are in.
We are mid way through our challenge at Unstampabelles. This time it's Tic Tac Toe.
TWIST: Journal about your decision making
Instructions: You must chose only one row across or down or diagonally - remember three in a row
There's a fab prize on offer too.
Lots of yummy goodies donated by our generous leader Susan.
Here is my inspiration for you this time.
It's a First Wedding Anniversary card . I followed the grid and used the middle vertical line Lace, Bling and Die Cuts.
I had the background paper in my stash . It had a lace border down the side, so this was my starting point for the Tic Tac Toe grid. The two doves were part of the backing paper, so perfect for a Wedding Anniversary card.
I added bling to the two hearts and die cut the sentiment 'Congratulations'. There is also some 'bling' on the number 1. I computer generated the names and Anniversary in pink to match the heart and sentiment. Et Voila!
I hope you'll enjoy this fun challenge this time. There is still time to enter and for more inspiration pop over to the Unstampabelles challenge blog (link in sidebar) The main rule for this challenge is not to use stamps including digis.
Have a great crafty week!!

Ooh La La new challenge.
Good morning it's time for our next challenge at Ooh La La.
Before I show you my inspiration I would like to say a big thank you to Pauline our leader who is stepping down from her role to concentrate on her lovely family. We will miss you Pauline and all your inspirational creations.I wish you well in all you do in the future. We have the lovely Wendi, who is the founder of Ooh La La, stepping into the role of leader this month. So please show her some love by popping over to the Ooh La La shop. (link below)
This time we are looking for all those yummy die cuts that you add to your cards.
Here is my inspiration for you.
I made my card using a new shape.....well new to me. It's a Four Fold Card. The main card is white card stock from my stash and the green matts are from a Lidl's pack. The Ooh La Lla CD I used was Fleur d' Imagination. You can find it here ooh-la-la-creations
The pink floral matts are from the CD and I die cut flowers from the designer paper. I also printed off an image and sentiment from the CD.
The white trailing ivy leaves are made using a Joanne Sheen die. The Happy Birthday die cut was created from the same designer paper. The die again came from Joanne Sheen.
I hope you've been inspired. For more lovely creations pop over to the challenge blog (link in sidebar) and see what the rest of the design team have created.
Thank you for visiting. Have a lovely week and take care!

CD Sunday and a new challenge!
Well it's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday....doesn't time fly. There weren't many entrants for 'Mellow Yellow' last time....does that colour not appeal lol!!! Or are you too busy making the dreaded Christmas cards!! Anyway the entries we had were lovely, making my task of choosing a winner more difficult! Talking of winners Meg has chosen her Top Three for the CAS challenge and they are up on the blog now (link in sidebar)
Now on to this fortnights challenge chosen by Margaret. It's 'For the love of dogs'. I'm sure you'll all love this one as we are a nation of animal lovers and doggy cards are always popular.
Here is my inspiration for you.

The image and designer papers are from an Ooh La La CD 'A Passion for Fashion'. The 'True Friend' sentiment is from a Joanne Sheen CD. I used gold peel offs for the Happy Birthday greeting. There was a smaller image also on the same sheet as the larger one so I made a small matching gift tag with this.
I hope you'll be inspired to join us this fortnight.
The rules are easy to follow.....simply use something from a CD when you make your card or anything else crafty and give credit to the CD.
It can be any element from a CD...... as small or as large as you like. So a tiny sentiment will suffice as long as you tell us which CD it's from you'll be in with a chance of a yummy prize kindly donated by Margaret. No digis or downloads either please x We are CD Sunday after all!!
Have a fun week and take care in this crazy world folks!! Thank you for visiting.

'Pinktober' with the Dragonflies
Good morning crafters. It's time for a newe challemnge at Crafting with Dragonflies. We had some lovely entries last fortnight for our 'Stars' challenge. The winner will be on the blog next weekend.
This time we are thinking of everyone who has or is suffering from the dreadful disease Cancer. As October is now Breast Cancer awareness month Hilde wanted us to make some Pinktober cards. Here is my inspiration for you.
My card is a simple CAS style. I used some lovely designer paper from Trimcraft. One of my crafters won a fabulous pack of goodies from them recently and she kindly shared her stash with us at the Craft Group. This is one of the papers. The sentiment was Googled. It's anonymous so I can't give it any further credit. The pink bow was also part of the image.
Please pop over to Crafting with Dragonflies (link in sidebar) for more inspiration from the Designn Team. Don't forget this a fun challenge and it's cards only.
Thank you for visiting and any comments you leave are always read and appreciated. Have a lovely weekend and stay safe!

'Tic Tac Toe' at Unstampabelles
A new month and a new challenge at Unstampabelles. This time it's Tic Tac Toe. Please pop over to the challenge blog to see the grid with lots of yummy choices!! (link in sidebar) The twist is to journal about your decision making. As always there is a fab prize on offer donated by our lovely leader Susan.
Here is my inspiration for you using 'Lace, Bling and Diecuts.'
This card was made at one of the sessions with my Craft Group. I wanted them to try and create a card using acetate.
So acetate was used as the main body of the card. The acetate is heavy so stands easily. We experimented with lighter acetate but it was too flimsy to stand up.
Now for the fun part.....adding the embellishments. With the Unstampabelles challenge in mind I decided to use some lace ribbon that I had purchased recently at one of the local shops that sells all things homemade and shabby chic. The 'Happy Christmas' greeting was a diecut purchased from Joanne Sheen's online shop. I added bling/ tiny gems to the central image which was purchased from Hunky Dory. The snowflake is a peel off from a Lidls pack. Peeping through on the back of the card you can just see another image which is a greeting also from Hunky Dory. I created a frame using straight line silver peels to the front of the card.
Something a bit different for my group. Their creations were successful and very pleasing. A fun session!
I hope you'll be inspired to join our challenge. The grid for Tic Tac Toe is on the main challenge blog (link in sidebar) There you'll find more inspiration from the Design Team.
Have a great crafty week. Thank you for visiting. Any comments you may leave are always read and appreciated. Thank you!
Wow!! How generous is this prize. Now who wouldn't want to win these yummy goodies!

'Harvest Time' at Ooh La La
It's time for our next challenge at OLL. we had some very pretty entries for my Happily Ever After challenge last time and the Top Three are on the challenge blog now. (link in sidebar)
Here is my inspiration for you this time.
Here is my inspiration for you this time.
I found a lovely Ooh La La CD image of apples. This lead me to think about the harvesting of apples and all those love apple pies that my Mother used to bake.
I started with a green embossed background. Card was from a pack of Lidl card. The image and backing matt are from the CD. As are the green apples across the bottom. I double die cut the greeting and offset it.
I hope you've been inspired to join us. For more inspiration pop over to OLL challenges (link in sidebar)

It's 'Mellow Yellow' at CD SUNDAY
It's time for a new challenge and my turn to pick the theme at CD Sunday. I have chosen 'Mellow Yellow'. So an opportunity for you to try a colour palette you may not often use.
The CAS challenge chosen by Meg last time was popular and we had some lovely entries. Meg will choose her Top Three and you'll find out if you're a winner in two weeks. Meanwhile the winner of 'Hear it for the Boys' challenge is on the challenge blog now. (link in sidebar)

I used an Ooh La La CD 'Watercolour Memories' for the main image and dp. I diecut the fancy borders using yellow card stock from my stash. The toppers and diecut elements from the same card stock. The greeting is a peel off and a yellow bow was added to the seed head die cuts.
I hope you've been inspired to join the challenge. There's always a crafty gift on offer for the winner, donated from the design team.

'Star Struck!' with the Dragonflies.
For our new challenge at Crafting with Dragonflies we are looking for a card with stars on it.
Here is my inspiration for you. (Photo alert)
Here is my inspiration for you. (Photo alert)
inside
front left
front right
I have created a card with a centre opening and decorated it with papers from my stash. The image on the inside was on my PC and I'm not sure where or how long I've had it. The stars and greeting are peel offs.
The large star on the left front is a die cut and the pink stars are gems. I googled the drama masks and cut them out and added these to the two front panels.
The stars on the right front are gems and the white lace borders are peel offs.
I hope I've inspired you to join our fun challenge which is for cards only. Link to challenge is in sidebar.
Thank you for visiting and if you've left a comment thank you again. I love reading them and appreciate them very much.
Have a lovely weekend and a great week.

Unstampabelles. 'Sets of Three'
We're midway through the month and that means more inspiration for you from the Belles for this months challenge. We are looking for sets of three. So this could be anything from layers to buttons. The optional twist is to use cardboard in your design.
Here is my inspiration for you.
I have three roses down each side of the frame and three heart gems on white heart in the centre. The cardboard element comes with the silver die cut heart and die cut silver leaf sprays. I used/recycled the silver card lid from a foil baking tray for these elements.
I hope you'll be inspired to join us. There are more inspirational creations for you at Unstampabelles challenge blog (link in sidebar) As usual there's a yummy prize on offer from Susan.

'Happily Ever After'
It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La. The theme this time has been chosen by me. I love weddings and we see lots of them here in Cyprus in September. It's always a popular month but I don't know why.
Here is my inspiration for you.
I embossed some A4 white card stock and folded it landscape orientation. I die cut a trellised arch window and placed the image behind. The image is from an Ooh La La CD 'Everyday Occasions'.
On the front of the window I added a die cut latticed heart. White ribbon was placed along the top edge and a 'Wedding Day' sentiment was added. Two small arch shaped tags, with white bows, were added to each side of the window.
I hope you've been inspired to join us. There are so more fab designs on the Ooh La La challenge blog (link in sidebar).
Thank you for visiting me and if you have commented thank you again as I enjoy reading all your comments.....they are much appreciated!!
Have fun and keep crafting!!

'CAS' at CD Sunday
Good Morning. I hope you are all enjoying a lovely weekend and the weather is being kind to you. It certainly is here as we have a small, welcoming breeze at the moment, keeping us cool.
It's time for our new challenge at CD Sunday and this time it's been chosen by Meg. She would like to see some CAS style cards but still using your CDs.
Last times challenge 'Let's Hear it for the Boys' proved to be very popular in spite of us all moaning about making cards for men! You see we can do it!! Pamela is going to have fun choosing her Top Three for this one. The winner is up on the blog now for Jane's challenge, 'Past Times'. Again we had some lovely entries making it another difficult one for Jane to choose.
Here is my inspiration for you this time.
I used white card stock from my stash to make a square card. The front was embossed with a Jacobean patterned folder. I added a circular image from a Joanne Sheen CD 'Oriental Dreams', This was added to a die cut circle using designer paper from the same CD. I added some tiny lilac seed beads to the edge of the circle and finished it off with a die cut greeting. The diecut is a new one from Hunky Dory. I layered it on white card stock before adding it the card. So a simple but effective design.
I hope you'll pop over to visit CD Sunday (link in side bar) and see what the rest of the team have created.
Thank you for visiting and I look forward to reading your comments which are always appreciated.

'Special Occassions'
It's time for a new challenge at Crafting with Dragonflies. Hilde would like you to create a card to celebrate those 'Special Occasions' in our lives.
Here is my inspiration for you:
My Special Occasion is the celebration of that special Graduation day!! I still remember mine as if it were yesterday even tho it was many, many moons ago!!
The image and verse are from CUP (sorry can't remember the designer. If you recognise it let me know and I'll give credit) The image was matted on white card stock which I embossed with a dotty folder. I finally added a tiny scroll to the bottom corner. I made it simply by rolling a tiny piece of printer paper and tied it with red ribbon from my stash.
Thank you for visiting me. Your comments are always read and appreciated. For more inspiration check out the Crafting with Dragonflies blog (link in sidebar)
Have a crafty weekend and I'll be visiting you soon!!

'Sets of Three please the eye!' at Unstampabelles
Where is this year going to. We are into September already and dare I say, Christmas is rushing towards us too quickly for me!!
A new month and a new challenge at Unstampabelles. This time Susan wants you to think about 'Threes'. As we all know three things grouped together is more pleasing to the eye than an even number, like two or four. Why this should be I don't know but it definitely is! The optional twist is to use cardboard somewhere on your project.
Prize this month.
This is my inspiration for you.
My card was created using white card stock covered with patterned pink designer paper. I began by die cutting three butterfly along the edge of the pink designer paper. I cut a strip of card from the front of the main card before adding the pink paper to the main card, so that the butterflies came off the edge. Then I die cut three more butterflies is dark pink mirri card and placed them on top adhering one side only.
I then die cut the flowers in three different shades of pink, lightweight, card and created three flowers with three layers. I then die cut the retro Happy Birthday greeting which was from Joanne Sheen.
Behind the butterflies, on the inside of the card, I embossed some white cardboard that I'd saved from some packaging.....as you do!! Then adhered it onto a pink matt. Et Voila!
As usual there will be a prize from Susan for our random winner and a favourite choice by the design team. (see prize photo at top of page) For more inspiration please pop over to Unstampabelles (link in sidebar) to see what the rest of the team have created.
Have a great week crafting and thank you for all your lovely comments. They are all read and appreciated very much.
Have fun!!

OLL Challenge 'Lace'
Time for a new challenge at Ooh La La. The theme 'Lace ' has been chosen by our teamie Tez.
Here is my inspiration for you.
I have used the Ooh La La CD 'Say it with words' for the main image.
I wrapped some lace ribbon around the centre of the pinky red card matt and then I placed the image on top. I die cut a lacey border and placed it down two sides of the image. The matt was then adhered to the main card which was made from A4 white card stock. The retro 'Happy Birthday' die cut is from Joanne Sheen and cut from the same pinky red card.
I hope you'll be tempted to join our challenge. Link in sidebar to the rest of the teams inspiration for you. Prize on offer is two digs from the OLL shop.
Have a great week and I'll be visiting you all soon.

Crafting with Dragonflies
Time for a new challenge at Crafting with dragonflies. This time it's 'Birthday cards with a cake or cakes'. Here's my inspiration for you.
I made a pop up box card using some card stock from my stash. I added cup cake toppers from apack of papers I bought at Lidls store.
The paper and card making stuff from this store is a life line for us crafters here in Cyprus as we have to buy the majority of our goodies on line or rely on friends going back to the UK for family time. Beware anyone who says 'Can I bring you anything back' Answer is usually a shipping order!! Craft shops are very, very thin on the ground here. Basically it's bookstores and stationary shops only.
I hand cut the balloons and candles. The 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is cut using a retro Happy Birthday die from Joanne Sheen. This is another online store that is used often by us crafters as the postage is free over a certain amount. Whoopppeee!!Finally the gold 'streamers' were hand cut slivers of gold paper curled with scissors.
I hope you have fun making your cards and don't forget this is a card only challenge for fun. I look forward to visiting you soon.

'Let's Hear it for the Boys'
Ooooppppssssss!!! Bit late with my post, sorry!! Smacked hands!!
It's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday. Pamela's turn to choose and it's for one of those tricky male cards!! 'Let's hear it for the Boys'.
Here is my inspiration for you.

(Sorry lighting not good.)
I covered A4 white card stock with images and background paper from the Peerless Designs CD 'Vintage Men'. The sentiment was computor generated using the 'Greeting Card factory' CD.
The team have lots of inspiration for you so pop over to CD Sunday to take a peek (link in sidebar). The results are up for the 'Anything Goes' challenge and Carol has chosen her Top Three.
Don't forget this challenge is open for anything crafty as long as use something, however small, on your project from a CD and give credit to the CD.
Hope you have a fun Bank Holiday weekend in the UK and those who aren't holidaying still have fun and stay safe!!

Unstampabelles midway challenge.
Good Morning or Good Evening wherever you may be in the crafting world. Does it seem possible that we are half way through August already . Summer will soon be over!!
It's time for more inspiration for you for Unstampabelles monthly challenge. This time we are wanting to see some 'Collage'. So you can 'dip your toes' into Multi Media and have fun!!
I've altered another wooden letter. The letter 'B' this time. 'B' for a baby boy!
I began by painting the letter shape in blue. I added a paler blue grograin ribbon down the side with a 'BABY' topper slotted through. I had some felt/furry baby feet' in my stash from eons ago. These were added together with three blue buttons threaded with blue cotton. The sleeping 'baby' image at the bottom is from a pack of baby toppers.....not sure who makes these.....let me know please! Finally I added a 'Baby' ribbon and bow to top for hanging. Eh Voila!
For more inspiration pop over to Unstampabelles (link in sidebar) and see what Susan and the rest of the Belles have been up to. There is another great prize on offer for our random winner.

'Flowers'
It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La. This time it's 'Flowers' chosen by Michelle. Another popular theme, just like our last one, 'Anything Goes'. Meg has a task on her hands choosing her Top Three for that challenge! Pop over to see if you agree with her choice. Fingers crossed you may me a winner too!!
Here is my inspiration for you.
I know it's another Christmas card. Whoo Hoo!! Another one for the little pile. I have tried another new shape. I do like to dabble in new shapes. This is tricky to describe so bear with me.
I started with white card stock. The two centre panels are the same size and the front one is smaller and back one taller. I matted the panels with plum card stock from a Lidls card pad. I printed images of white poinsettia flowers from the Oh La La CD 'Fleur D'Imagination'. These were matted on white card stock and then place on the bottom of each panel.
I die cut some poinsettia in white card plus some holly leaves and added these to the panels. The greeting is a die cut, again from white card stock.
I hope I've inspired you to join our challenge at Ooh La La. The prize is two digi images from the shop. To check out more Ooh Lla La CDs visit the shop at .ooh-la-la-creations
Have fun week and I look forward to visiting you soon.

'Past Times' at CD Sunday
It's Sunday and time for our next challenge at CD Sunday. Last time we had lots of fabulous entries for 'Anything Goes' and Carol will have a difficult task choosing her Top Three.
The theme this time has been chosen by Jane. It's 'Past Times'. Here is my inspiration for you.
It's another Christmas card to add to my small collection!! It's just too hot to craft here and I know lots of crafters will be already making their Christmas but not me!! So I welcomed this challenge as it made me seek out my Joanne Sheen CD Victorian Christmas Cards and thus adding a Christmas card to the Christmas box!
The white card stock was covered with the designer paper from the CD. I then printed the image and placed it centrally. It already had the border of red. The scene is a lovely image of Victorian skaters on the park lake. This is certainly an image from Past Times. Look at what they are wearing! All dressed up....especially the men!
I felt that the whole card needed 'lifting', as it looked too dark, so I die cut some white snowflakes and added these randomly. The 'snowflakes' helped to achieve this I think. The two tiny sentiments were also from the same CD.
I hope I've inspired you to join our challenge. Usual rules apply, except that to be with a chance of winning a prize, you must use something from a CD and tell us what CD you have used.
Have a lovely week and I hope, unlike me, you are well on the way to making those Christmas cards!!

Good morning thank you for visiting me. Your comments are always read and appreciated.
It's time to announce our next challenge at Crafting with Dragonflies. Last time's challenge was 'Baby' cards.....my favourite make. We had some very cute creations and it's Karen's turn to choose the Top Three. This won't be an easy task!!
For this time's challenge you have a wider theme as it's Embossing either wet or dry or both!!
Here is my inspiration for you.
I've chosen dry embossing. I began with a matt of cerise mirri card and added the white embossed card stock to the top. The embossing folder is a new A4 one..... Jacobean design (forgotten who makes this) Before embossing I die cut 'flower' shaped apertures randomly across the white card.. The cerise mirri card can then be seen peeping through. The flower shapes which had been die cut were then placed on top of the opening with a 3D pad. Tucked in behind the 'flower' were swirls of fine cerise wire. A gem was then placed in the centre of the flower. To complete the card I die cut a butterfly in white and cerise mirri and finished it with gems added to the centre. The sentiment is cut from the same cerise mirri card.
I hope you'll be inspired to join us. Don't forget this is a fun challenge for cards only. For more inspiration visit Crafting with Dragonflies (link in sidebar)
Have a lovely weekend!!

'Collage' and yummy prize at Unstampabelles
Time for a new challenge at Unstampabelles. I can't believe it's August already. The heat here is unbearable at times but shouldn't complain as I hate the Winters....too cold for me!!
Our challenge for August is 'Collage, collage collage!! The optional twist is to venture into multi media by using two or more mediums on your creation.
As usual there's a fabulous prize on offer donated by our lovely leader Susan.
Lots of yummy goodie.....papers, stamps and dies. Now who wouldn't want to win this. Wow!
Here is my inspiration for you. I have some wooden letters in my stash just waiting to be 'played' with. This is the letter 'A'.
I covered it with the blue striped paper from a paper stack in my stash. I added sand and pebbles on the 'feet'. I found some wooden nautical bits in my odds and ends box. The boat, sun brolly and lighthouse gave it a seaside feel. I then added a felt cloud to the top of the 'A' and a thick white piece of string to act as a hanger.
I had fun playing . I hope you do too. Don't forget the main rule is NO STAMPS ...digi or otherwise. I look forward to visiting you soon to see all your yummy creations.
Have fun!!
