#32 CD Sunday Plus

Another week over and I, like many others, are still isolating. It's week 3 for me!! How is everyone doing? At least we can keep sane with our crafting.

This week at CD Sunday Plus Margaret is our host. We also have some sad news. Jane who has been a guest designer for a number of years has decided to retire from all her Designer commitments due to family reasons. We will miss her and seeing her fabulous creations. Sending you much love Jane and please keep in touch.

As usual at CD Sunday Plus the challenge is 'Anything Goes' as long as you use something from a CD, USB or download and tell us your source, to be in with chance of making the Host's Top Three.

Here is my inspiration fro you.

I decided to make a start on my Easter cards whilst in isolation. This the first of them. I used a lovely image of Daffodils from Crafts You Print. The artwork is from Sandie Burchell. It was actually an insert which I printed on to card then cut to size. So I still have the other half to play around with. I mounted on a green background from card I had in stock. I made a matching green matt for the greeting and created the 'Happy Easter' greeting using the CD Greeting Card Factory Deluxe.

I hope you have a great week crafting and STAY SAFE!! Don't go out unless you really have to and remember social distancing if you do.

Enjoy!

#31 CD Sunday Plus

Good morning everyone. Well we are halfway through  March and it's time for another challenge at CD Sunday Plus. I am hosting it this time so I am looking forward to seeing all your lovely creations. It's 'Anything Goes' as usual as long as long as you use something from a CD, USB or Digital Download when creating your project. Don't forget to tell us your source and then you'll be in with a chance of being in my Top Three.

Here is my inspiration for you.

I made this for a young man who will be 5 years old this month. He loves pirates so I thought this was perfect when I saw it at Crafts You Print.

I started with green card stock and folded it landscape orientation. The added a yellow matt. and the image . It seemed a bit bare at the side so I used the extra embellishments down the side on a yellow matt. I added further embellishments along the edge of the image.

I hope you can join us this time and also I hope you are all keeping well. At least we crafters won't be bored if we do have to self isolate because of this nasty virus. You got to look positive in these troubled times eh!

Have a great crafty week.

#98 Unstampabelles.

Good Afternoon everyone or Good Morning if you are in Tasmania and all points South!!

It's a new month so a new challenge at Unstampabelles. A new month. Wow! Where does the time go.

This month, following our positive theme for the year, is 'Hope!'

So we are looking for projects with e.g flowers, castles in the air, sunshine etc Anything that reflects new beginnings, energy and youth. Tell us about your project too. The TWIST this time is to use  yellow as your main theme.

Here is my inspiration for you.

I created this for a young lady who was about to embark on a new life at University. I used the wooden letter 'E', her initial, and painted it in a creamy colour. I added three yellow, silk flowers, from my stash. Then added some darker yellow gems and finished off with some yellow nylon ribbon to create a hanger.
(Looking at it now I think it may be upside down DUH!. Hope she didn't notice!)

I hope, no pun intended, you will join us this month . Don't forget we are Unstampabelles so NO STAMPS please!

Have fun!!

#30 CD Sunday Plus

Good Morning . Well it's time for a new challenge at CD Sunday Plus. Where does the time go? I hope you haven't suffered too badly from flooding. We have been very lucky here in the North East as the days have been dry and sunny even tho bitterly cold. We seem to have missed all the storms!

Our challenge is 'Anything Goes' as long as you us something from a CD, a digi dowload or a USB and tell us your source then you'll be considered for our Design Teams Top Three.

Here is my inspiration for you.

I used a lovely download from Crafts You Print. I loved all the delicate blue shades. It seemed just perfect for a New Baby Boy. I like traditional colours for babies. How about you?

Hope you are keeping dry and have been  busy crafting. Hope you'll join us this fortnight for our 'Anything Goes' challenge.
Enjoy!!
