Where is this year going to. We are into September already and dare I say, Christmas is rushing towards us too quickly for me!!
A new month and a new challenge at Unstampabelles. This time Susan wants you to think about 'Threes'. As we all know three things grouped together is more pleasing to the eye than an even number, like two or four. Why this should be I don't know but it definitely is! The optional twist is to use cardboard somewhere on your project.
Prize this month.
This is my inspiration for you.
My card was created using white card stock covered with patterned pink designer paper. I began by die cutting three butterfly along the edge of the pink designer paper. I cut a strip of card from the front of the main card before adding the pink paper to the main card, so that the butterflies came off the edge. Then I die cut three more butterflies is dark pink mirri card and placed them on top adhering one side only.
I then die cut the flowers in three different shades of pink, lightweight, card and created three flowers with three layers. I then die cut the retro Happy Birthday greeting which was from Joanne Sheen.
Behind the butterflies, on the inside of the card, I embossed some white cardboard that I'd saved from some packaging.....as you do!! Then adhered it onto a pink matt. Et Voila!
As usual there will be a prize from Susan for our random winner and a favourite choice by the design team. (see prize photo at top of page) For more inspiration please pop over to Unstampabelles (link in sidebar) to see what the rest of the team have created.
Have a great week crafting and thank you for all your lovely comments. They are all read and appreciated very much.
Have fun!!
