'Make it Male'

Time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and this time it has ben chosen by our lovely Carol. We had lots of entries last time for Pauline's 'Something New'.... I think you liked that one! The Top Three for the  challenge 'T'was the Night Before Christmas' is also on the challenge blog so click on the link in the sidebar and see if you're a winner!!

This is my inspiration for you for this challenge.

The image and background paper and sentiment are all from the CD ' The Wrinklies' by La Pashe. There's some fun images on this CD and I was spoilt for choice.

A very easy card to make. I printed off the decoupage sheet which included the background paper and sentiment. I used white card stock to make a basic square card.  I decided not to decoupage the image then it would be flat for posting. Finally adding a peel off greeting. Eh voila!!

I hope you'll be inspired to join in the challenge. Male cards are always a real challenge for me but lately I seem to have been making many.....lots of 70th birthdays amongst our expat male friends recently.

Have fun!!!

  1. Brilliant card, I love this image and your sentiment, a good card for a male.
Hope it's warmed up with you, We had a little snow here in Somerset this week but the sun thawed so it did not last long, it's a bit milder today.

  3. Hi Wynn. I love coming to visit you especially when you describe me as lovely!! I have a couple of sons that your sentiment may apply to (not the lovely - the immaturity).
By the way rhyme on my card is part of the CD.

  4. That sentiment made me laugh out loud! A super card, and I really don't think the decoupage would have added anything to it but unwanted bulk. I've never noticed that background on the CD, must get it out and make a note of where it is, because as well as the images it is intended to be used with I have a couple of stamps it would make a great background for too
