'Celebration'

Good morning from a scorching hot Cyprus!!! We are still having a heatwave and it's still unbearably  sticky, wet and humid on the coast, especially in the evenings. Thank goodness we live higher up in the hills.

This fortnight at CD Sunday we have another challenge for you, 'Celebration', chosen by Jocelyn. Last time it was 'Up the Garden Path' and not many entries. It's always harder to choose a winner when there are fewer entries but someone will be very lucky and receive a great prize for winning. No idea why we had so few entries.....maybe you are all on holiday or watching the tennis!!

Here is my inspiration for you this time.

Time to celebrate a wedding. June is traditionally the month for weddings so I expect we'll see a few more entries this time. You could however be Celebrating any occasion.....birthdays, new baby, new home, new job, retirement, graduation....lots of ideas come to mind so plenty of scope to inspire you.

I used the CD 'Victorian Weddings' by Debbie Moore for my card. I began with a pre cut shaped card which I embossed with a Jacobean patterned embossing folder. Printed off the image and sentiment and adhered them to the card front. I added gems to the corners and pearls on the sentiment.

I hope you'll be inspired to join us this time. Remember you must use a CD to be in with a chance of a prize and tell us in your post where the CD is from. Non CD entries will be acceptable but you will only be chosen to receive a prize if you've used a CD.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend. Have fun!
