Good Morning. Sorry I'm a wee bit late.....don't know what day it is here half the time....struggling a bit with my health so apologies for my tardiness.
Over at Crafting with Dragonflies. Hilde asked us to create something Vintage or Shabby Chic and we have a DT call for those of you who want to join our very friendly team.
Here is my inspiration for you.
I used a Debbie Moore Cd Shabby Chic for my card. I mounted the background paper on to white card stock. The topper and greeting are from the CD too. I printed off extra butterflies and decoupaged one on the topper and added another to the rose on the greeting. The rose came from Joanne Sheen crafts online. The vintage craem lace was in my stash so I added it as a border just to finish it off!! I hope you like it and have been inspired.
Please pop over to Crafting with Dragonflies...link in sidebar....and see what the rest of my teamies have been up to.
Have fun!!

#203 Photo Inspiration at OLL
Good Morning crafters. It's time for a new challenge at Ooh La La. Last time Lynn asked us to use Words in our creation. We had some great entries and she has now chosen her Top Three. Pop over to Ooh La La ( link in the sidebar....you may be a winner!!
It's Allison's turn to chose the theme this time and she gave us this fab photo to inspire us.
Lots to choose from in the photograph. I went with the red white and blue theme and the flowers. I used the Ooh La La 'Yesterday's Memories' for my image and background paper. The greeting Happy Birthday is die cut twice in blue and red to give a shadow effect. I matted the background paper on to white card stock.
I hope you enjoy the challenge this time and look forward to visiting you all shortly.
Have fun!!

Final week Unstampabelles
Good Morning crafters. It's the final week at Unstampabelles for all those Floral and Fauna creations. The added twist is to add some texture. This is my inspiration for you.
The main card was put through the embossing folder to make it 'lumpy bumpy' as Susan calls it!! It's got some lovely embossed butterflies and flowers on it so ideal for the challenge and the twist. I added a diecut butterfly which I also embossed. A sparkley butterfly and a peel off greeting to finish. The lighting wasn't too great when I took the photo sorry!!
There's a great prize on offer for the winner. It's a floral border die donated by Susan.
The main rule is not to add anything stamped ......digi or otherwise. So hurry there's not long as the challenge ends on the 29th.
Good luck and Happy Crafting.

Floral and Fauna
We're midway through the month at Unstampabelles. I think you like this challenges as we've have some wonderful entries so far. You still have until the end of the month to enter though so still plenty of time. The twist this time is to add texture or as Susan says make it a bit lumpy bumpy!!
Here is my inspiration for you.
I made this Easter card for my Grandchildren who are all animal crazy!! The image layout was in my stash so not sure where it's from. I added some 3D decoupage to make it 'lumpy bumpy'. The bow, flowers, greeting panel and scalloped border are all 3D.
I hope I've inspired you to enter our challenge there's lovely prize on offer . Kindly donated by Susan.

'Happy Birthday!!!'
Yes it's Birthday time at CD Sunday and we have some fab prizes to give away. All the details and pictures of prizes are on the CD Sunday website.cdsundaychallenge
The challenge is really easy this time . We would like you to enter your favourite creation that you made for the CD Sunday challenges over the years. It can be from any year as long as you give us details of the CD used and your reasons for re entering it this time.
This is my choice.
This was an inspiration card designed for the colour challenge on the 2nd November 2014...... 'Coffee, Peach and Cream'.
I created it for my daughters birthday. A special day so a special card and one I know she treasures. She always appreciates my cards and that means a lot to me not only as a crafter but as a Mother too......hence my choice of card this time.
I used a Debbie Moore CD from her Shabby Chic Collection. I was lucky as it had mainly a pale coffee background tone. The main card is peach and I layered the image on cream card stock. I used peach and cream for the flowers and tied them up with a brown ribbon. Finally adding three flat backed pearls.
You can't see the additional strip behind the image but it says 'One year older and one year better'. Very apt for my daughter who is Wonder Woman in my eyes.....I won't embarrass her by going into details but she is Unbelievable believe you me!! Definitely Wonder Woman and doesn't realise it!!
I hope you all enjoy our challenge this time and do pop over to CD Sunday to see more inspirational memories for you and the list of yummy prizes on offer.
It just remains with me to say 'Happy Birthday CD Sunday'!!!

Crafting with Dragonflies
Thank you for all your lovely Baby card entries at Crafting with Dragonflies last time. We have a new challenge for you over the next two weeks.
Hilde would like you to create a Masculine card for all those Men in your life either big or small. This is my creation to inspire you.
I was asked to make this for a customer who's Uncle was a business man who travelled a lot. I found this image in my stash.....not sure where it was from but if you know let me know and I'll give credit.
I mounted it on plain A4 brown card stock leaving a small border around the image. I added the greeting and the plain border strip underneath onto the computer screen. These were also with the image, so they matched. I then found some aqua blue/green peel off letters to create the word 'UNCLE'.
So that is my inspiration for you. Male cards are always difficult for me.....don't know why they just seem to stunt my imagination some how. Fortunately, this time, the layout was already done for me so easy peasy!!
I hope you enjoy this challenge and do pop over to Crafting with Dragonflies to be inspired by the rest of the teams' lovely creations.
Happy Crafting!!

' Words Words Words'
Good Morning to you all. I hope you've had a great weekend.
Over at Ooh La La challenges it's time for a new challenge. This time Lynn has chosen the theme 'Words Words Words '. It was my turn last time with the 'Feathered Friends' challenge. We had some amazing entries and it was very difficult to choose my Top Three. Pop over to the challenge blog to see if you're a winner (link in sidebar). Thank you all for your wonderful entries.
Ooh La La have an amazing CD 'Say it with words' and this was the first place I looked when I was creating my inspiration for you. You'll find details of this CD on the Ooh La La web site .ooh-la-la-creations
This was a very easy make. I began with orange card stock from a Lidls' pack of card and added a pale green strip of card down the centre. I printed off the image which was already layered up at an angle. I found some matching orange tuille ribbon in my stash and made a bow. This was placed down one side. On the opposite side to balance I placed three flower gems. Finally a 'Happy Birthday' peel off in bronze.
The words read:

'The secret to staying young is to eat slowly....
.....and lie about your age!!'
quote from Lucille Ball
(from those who remember her..... well....what a wit!)
I hope this card made you smile. For more inspiration pop over to the challenge blog to see what the rest of the team have created and the many words and quotes they've used to amuse you and ponder over.
Have a crafty week and I look forward to visiting you soon.

'Floral and Fauna'
Good morning everyone. This month at Unstampabelles we would like you to create something that shows Floral and Fauna. The twist is to make it a bit 'lumpy bumpy'!! This is the lovely die on offer to the winner donated by Susan.
This is my inspiration for you.
This was made with white card stock and a trellis die used to cut out the arched shaped trellis. I then created a spray of flowers and added a bow. For the 'Fauna' I made a butterfly from shrink plastic. The trellis was placed on top of a sky background courtesy of Google.
Sorry my post is a bit short and sweet but not too well at the moment. Please pop over to Unstampabelles and see what the rest of the team have created.
Have fun!!

'Get Well' with CD Sunday.
Good Morning everyone. It's time for another challenge at CD Sunday. We had lots of yummy entries for our last challenge 'Creatures Great and Small'. I think you liked that one. No Sue's turn to choose and she would like you to make a 'Get Well' card. These are always handy to have in your card box.
This is my inspiration for you.
This is a new fold for me. It's called a 'Joy Card' I have no idea why!! As you can see it's two cards in one. A large one with a smaller one inserted in the opposite direction..
The images and designer paper are from Ooh La La ' Carnival of Colour' and the sentiment is from 'A Walk in the Countryside' by Cupcake Crafting.
Sorry for the short post this time but I am not too well at the moment. If you pop over to CD Sunday you will see some exciting news from Carol. Definitely more exciting than mine!!
Take care and I look forward to visiting you soon.

Crafting with Dragonflies
Sorry Dragonfly followers but I'm a bit late with this post. I haven't been well these past few days and only just got back from another hospital trip. Better late than never so they say.
I know you'll enjoy the next challenge at Crafting with Dragonflies because it's Babies. I just love making baby cards and I love babies too!! Yummy little things.....good enough to eat !!!
For my card I made a pop up box card in pink. It's a new die I bought recently and this one also scallops the edges to give it a lovely trellis effect. It's by Robert Adams and there's a YouTube video showing how to make these.Popping Box Card
I added a die cut Silhouette baby pram from Joanne Sheen to the front panel. The rest of the embellishments are from K & Co.
I hope I've inspired you to join in the challenge. (link in sidebar to Crafting with Dragonflies)
