Final week at Unstampabelles.
There's still time to get those entries made for our challenge at 'Unstampabelles' Theres a great prize on offer too.
Two....yes two.....decorative dies courtesy of our lovely leader Susan.
The challenge is to create something to reflect the theme 'Looking forward Looking backwards' and the optional twist is to add a window.
This is my final weeks inspiration for you.

This is my final weeks inspiration for you.
The 'Home' plaque was made for a fellow crafter who adores cats. She had sent me the blank MDF plaque and I had a little play with it and returned it to her as a gift. I used a Marianne diecut for the window and the rest of the embellies were from my stash.
This is the reverse side of the plaque.
If you look closely you can see that he windows on the back are made from mosaic tiled designer paper.
So my interpretation is a New Home and all the excitement it brings for the future plus the memories you take with you from your old home.
I hope I've inspired you to take part but be quick as the challenge will close soon and you'll miss out on those yummy dies.
Have fun!!
'Thank You'
It's time for another challenge at CD Sunday. Where do the days go??? Last time Sue asked you to add a button to your projects and I think you liked this challenge as it was very popular and we had lots of scrummy entries. She's busy deciding who her top three are and I think she's got a task on her hands as there's some fab creations.
It's Carol's choice this time and she wold like to see your 'Thank You' cards. Don't forget the other rule is to use something from a CD, no matter how small, and let us know which CD it's from.
Here is my inspiration for you.
I have used a Joanne Sheen CD with artwork by Janet Kruskamp
You all know by now that I love attempting new folds and this is another of those. It starts off as a 9 x 9inch square piece of card. It's quite a small card when completed. So a lot of work for a wee card you might think.
1. Score it at 1 1/2 , 3, 6, and 7 1/2inches.
2. Turn it 90 degrees and score at 3 and 6 inches
3. Cut away the four corners...... (where the score lines intersect you will have squares)
This is it opened up and you can see here better where to cut away the squares when it's flattened.
4. Fold the central strip mountain and valley fold. Then fold up the bottom and fold down the top.
I hope you've been able to follow this tutorial and maybe you will give it a go yourself. If you do I would love to see them.
The results are up on the challenge blog for Jocelyn's 'Seasons' challenge. The link is in the sidebar to the challenge blog. Hope you're a winner as Jocelyn will be sending you a little something crafty if you are. Good luck and I look forward to visiting you soon to check out those 'Thank You' cards.

#51 Crafting with Dragonflies
Time for another challenge at 'Crafting with Dragonflies' (link in sidebar). We had a very popular challenge last time 'Anything Goes' and over a 100 entries. Wow!!! Pop over to see if our lovely leader Hilde has chosen your creation....not an easy task from so many fab entries.
Let's see if this one is as popular, I think it will be. It's a 'Birthday Card'. Another easy peasy one for you. This is my inspiration for you.
I created this for another crafty friends birthday. The idea came from Pinterest. I used a pre made card from Tonic with scalloped edge and ran it through the cuttle bug with a lovely flower embossing folder. The topper is a heart doiley, that was a RAK from another crafty friend. I used peach and cream flower heads to create a bouquet centrally on the heart. The heart was edged with small seed pearls. Finally a Birthday Wishes greeting banner from my stash was placed diagonally across the heart. Voila!! I hope I have inspired you.
Please pop over to Crafting with Dragonflies and see what the rest of the team have created for 'Birthday Cards'.....you won't be disappointed and may just get some new ideas too.
I look forward to visiting your blogs very soon. Have a crafty week and most of all have fun!!!

'Add a Button'
So sorry I'm late with this post. Been a wee bit poorly and I forgot to schedule. I'm back on track now so here we go.
First of all I must thank you all for entering the 'Wildflowers' challenge chosen by yours truly. I really enjoyed visiting your blogs but trying to decide on a winner was very difficult!! I did choose tho, eventually, and if you click on the CD Sunday link in the sidebar you will see if it was you!!
This time at CD Sunday Sue asked us to add a button or buttons to our creations. I really enjoyed this project and had great fun looking through my stash to create this one.
Here is my inspiration for you.
Now those who know me in the crafting world are aware that I love a new fold to challenge me!!! This is one of those. It's a tri fold easel card. I've not made one of these before but it was quite easy. Just the usual tri fold card with an easel card added to the centre panel.
The CD used was from Grandmas Button Box by Katy Sue designs. Everything on the card is from the CD except for the pink button in the button jar of course!!
I love the sentiment.

'Like button jars
life always has just
what you need if you
look hard enough'
This is so true I think.
This is the card folded flat for posting. You can see I added a greeting to the back of the easel part and left a space to write a message...
I also added two buttons as faux closures.
I'm sure , like me, you're going to enjoy this one. I look forward to visiting you soon. Don't forget to use a CD when you create your entry and tell us which CD you used please.
HAVE FUN!!

#50 'Anything Goes' with Dragonflies
It's a new month and a new year at Crafting with Dragonflies (link in sidebar). It's great to be back with this very friendly card challenge site. We have a new DT member too, Helen. So please click on her link in the challenge blog to give her some love. The rest of the team are Susan, CG and yours truly lead by the lovely Hilde. Yeh!! It's good to be back with the 'old' gang!!
We are starting off with the very popular challenge 'Anything Goes' and it's a card challenge as always. So any type of card will be great.....easy peasy eh!
This is my inspiration for you. It's a' Thank You' card. I make a lot of these in January as you always need to thank someone throughout the year. So it's great to have a supply to hand.
I decided to create a DL card for a change. This style of card, I think, gives you a bit more space inside to write your letter/message.
I had a great feather die which was free with a magazine (sadly I have now mislaid this die grrr . No doubt it will turn up it a strange place!!) I had a pack of lightweight card in a Christmas paper pack. I wasn't sure the colours were Christmassy enough so they didn't get used then. I used the teal green for the background and reddy brown for one of the feathers, from the pack. The main card is white card stock as is the other feather. The card candie in the corner is from waste peel offs!! As are the dots after the 'Thank You', which is also a peel off. I now have a 'Thank You' die so may be using that in the future......when I've used up the millions of peel offs that is!!
I hope you will pop over to 'Crafting with Dragonflies' (link in sidebar) and see what the rest of the team have created. Please give them some love to send them on their way to another successful year with the lovely Dragonflies.
I look forward to visiting you and seeing all your lovely creations. Have fun!!
