Now like all good crafters I never throw anything away so when I saw the challenge at crafting-with-dragonflies for using your scraps I thought 'What a good idea. I've got plenty of those lol!!'
So here's my latest creation using up a few of my many, many scraps of paper.
I also added yellow bows and flowers and two good luck peel offs.....shamrock and horseshoe. So some of my green papers used but I think I need 100 more challenges like this to get rid of the mountain!!

Snow People!!
Well the Christmas card pile is very slowly rising. Thanks to CD Sunday I've been inspired to create another. The challenge is to use a CD to create something with a 'snowperson' on. I must have gone through at least a dozen CD's without being inspired. Finally I went for a snowman topper from My Craft Studio.
This what I've come up with. A Christmas wall hanging. The main hanging was wide florist's ribbon in a deep blue. I was given this by a fellow crafter who does a lot of flower arranging. It's fab quality so perfect to hang.
I double mounted the image from the CD on blue card stock.
I found a Snowman poem in my stash and mounted that also on to blue card stock. The little topper at the top says....'Let it Snow' ....perfect for a Snowman don't you think. Well lets face it you can't make a snowman without it.

'Special Christmas Wishes' sentiment and stars and lots of glittery silver stickle finished the main hanging. I added a white organza ribbon as a hanger and added more silver stars.
So thank you CD Sunday that's another one finished.

Over at (pin)spirational this week we've been inspired, I think you'll agree, by a beautiful Autumn poem.

Prize: 8 digis to Winner
Have fun checking out their inspirational digis.
I chose a Spyder's digi for my creation this week.(Sorry piccie is a bit dull....not sure why!!)
He's a cute Scarecrow and I love his little 'friend'!! He was real fun to colour with my Pergamano pencils. I found some perfect fall leaves, in my stash, and added them to the corners. The pumpkins at his feet, also from my stash, finished it off.
The background paper is from a 6 x 6 pack that I've had for eons and I think you'll agree, matched the Harvest /Autumnal theme perfectly. This cute little fellow seemed to be saying Hi to his birdy Friend so that's what I went with for my sentiments.
Have fun popping over to (http://pinspirationalchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ and check out what my team mates have come up with. And while you're there why not join in the challenge too.....you know you want to!!

For a Special Little Boy
Wow doesn't time fly. It's ages since I did any blogging. I don't know where the time goes.
Over at CD Sunday this week's challenge is Little Boys. Well I've only one special little boy in my life....my grandson .....and he's crazy about dogs. So when I was looking through my CD's I came across the perfect Christmas image for a card for him. It's called Christmas Furry Friends by Digi Crafts. The CD is packed with scrummy images to make squeeze cards. But I decided just to decoupage and I think it worked just fine.
It was so easy to make. I used four layers of decoupage on a matching red background. Blinged it up with silver stickles and a sentiment and hey presto one more Christmas card done. It really was the easiest card I've ever made.

(PIN)inspirational challenge
What a time I'm having with technology here. No main PC........it's a bit poorly....... and Blackberry is a nightmare for doing long posts. I'm using this laptop to get this blog post done for the
(PIN)inspirational challenge blog. The photos are now on an external hard drive so fingers crossed I can do this.
Challenge Picture
Sponsors this week are: 2cuteink digital stamps
Prize is 2 digis
Prize is $20 gift certificate
So far so good.......I know I can do this. One more piccie to go...... my DT card. I used two cute froggie digis from 2cute digi stamps and placed 'them' on a scallopped shaped card which I felt looked like a flower or a lilypad. They are coloured with Pergamano pencils.
I double mounted two punched circle shapes and a smaller circular sentiment from my stash. It's finished off with red square gems and chunky circular beads.
Phewwwwwwww I made it.
A cute card for a froggie lover!!
Please pop over to the (pin)spirational challenges blogspot to see what great cards my teamies have made.
