We are half way through the month already......where do the days go? Unstampabelles challenge this month is to create a Thank You card inspired by the view from your window. My inspiration came from the unexpected covering of snow we got here last week.....not much but it was snow. So with is in mind I went for an all white card using a design I had seen on Pinterest.....not sure who pinned it tho sorry. This is the tiny bit of snow I saw from my window.
I can hear those who are snowbound laughing but we were excited!!! Below is my Thank You card.
I ran the background card though the cuttlebug using a floral embossing folder. Then drew a curved line and cut the card in two halves. This gap was replaced with a plain piece of card where I put the Thanks letters. These were cut from dies in the Bug. I outlined the curved shape with flat backed pearls and added a diecut butterfly.
I'm sure you'll agree this is a lovely challenge and I look forward to seeing where you live and what view has inspired you. Susan is providing a gift voucher of $25 (Australian) as a prize for the lucky winner. It's for Stampin' Up products and note that it will include the postage to where-ever the winner lives as well. So what are you waiting for pop over to Unstampabelles and be inspired by the creations of the rest of the Design Team.
Keep warm!!.....or cool if you're in the Southern hemisphere.
Lovely embossing and beautiful card dear. Nice take on the challenge
ReplyDeleteHi, Been a while since I got to enjoy your fabulous work, but saw your link at another blog just now. Easy to pop over to visit, wish you Happy New Year, and enjoy this gorgeous WoW card. Love the embossing & butterfly. The shaped curves certainly enhance the embossed sentiment, and the pearl trim draws the eye right to those graceful curves. In So. Florida, we got excited at seeing snow too! Lovely to see it fall, but grateful I don't have to get out in it! TFS & have a great day. Hugs
