'Christmas..... Old or New'

Good afternoon. Sorry I'm a tad late with my post for the new challenge at CD Sunday. Thank you everyone who entered Margaret's 'Blue and White'challenge last time. The winner will be announced next Sunday. The challenge this time is last for the year and has been chosen by Jocelyn. We start again January 6th.

Here's my inspiration for you this time.

I used a lovely CD for the background paper from Ooh La La with artwork by Paula Oakley. The topper, which I thought looked very 1920's, is from Hunky Dory. The greeting was in the same pack. I added a diecut gold holly spray to one corner and sprinkled some old star peel offs randomly on the background paper.

This card was so easy to make . So if you need a last minute card....as we always do...Simply get out a CD print off some background paper and add a suitable topper and greeting  to it and VOILA!

It just remains for me to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a peaceful, healthy 2019.

Keep Crafting!!!

Unstampabelles last challenge for 2018!!

Can you believe another year is almost over.....where do the days, weeks, months, years go!! This is our last challenge for 2018 at Unstampabelles. Of course it's something appropriate for this time of the year.

We would like you to show us a Christmas themed item related to your country. The optional Twist is to explain the theme in your blog. Don't forget the important rule.....no stamps allowed.....we are UNstampabelles!

As usual there is a prize on offer.

Here is my inspiration for you.

Carol singing around the tree in local villages.

Where I live in the UK there are many small villages with a beautiful Christmas at the heart of the village. Every year they have carol singing around the tree in each village, which is usually led by the local church choir. Ours happens this Tuesday evening and I am very much looking for ward to it. This will be my first Christmas back home in the UK so you can imagine the joy I'm feeling.

The card was created using only Hunky Dory products.

I hope you'll be inspired to join us and show us your Christmas traditions in your creations. I look forward very much to visiting your blogs and reading about your traditions.

Happy Crafting!
